Iwo Pierz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fabricio Oto 9 minutes into the match. If Iwo Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Paulino Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwo Pierz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabricio Oto. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Iwo Pierz had several of the Bustinza CAB's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Fabricio Oto as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 34 in the game by Iwo Pierz from a close distance when the talented Fabricio Oto managed to make a qualified save. Bustinza CAB's players were relieved. A beautiful save bye Bustinza CAB's goalie prevented a goal. Iwo Pierz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabricio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Pierz to strike the kick off in the second half. Bustinza CAB's Fabricio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Isadore in the 55th minute of play. Segundo Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Cordareo came out and tried to block the shot, but Segundo Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 57th minute. Fabricio Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Pierz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Iwo Pierz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Oto was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Paulino Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Iwo Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Iwo Pierz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
