In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atikus FC's goalkeeper Preston Willard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Havier took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Preston Willard. Preston Willard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Maximino Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Preston Willard made a huge save. Edgardo Locaio struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Claudio Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atikus FC. Claudio Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes, Ovidio Fliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrialito AFC and the Atikus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Ovidio Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Rainerio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Rainerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Locaio in the 32nd minute of play. Atikus FC's Preston Willard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atikus FC from getting a goal against them. Gogo Bento took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Cordera. Claudio Cordera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Barrialito AFC defense, Rodrigo Roldanillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Cordera. The Barrialito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Cordera should have stopped the shot. Saul Cuartio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Cuartio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Edgardo Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atikus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Locaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Bela made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Edgardo Locaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute, Eliseo Fernado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Gogo Bento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Cordera, passed just outside the right post. Claudio Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Locaio in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gogo Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atikus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateus Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Claudio Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Locaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Locaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Cordera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Atikus FC's Rodrigo Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Cordera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atikus FC's Preston Willard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Fliz in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Locaio came free, but Claudio Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preston Willard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Havier in the 93rd minute of play. Atikus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
