The la petro fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Karmel should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Marcel Onișoru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Telmo in the 15th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Sayvion in the 53rd minute of play forced QuilmesAC's goalkeeper Angelo Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, la petro fc's Daniel Karmel got control of the ball when Marcel Onișoru tried to sneak it across the goal line. The QuilmesAC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 88th minute Marcel Onișoru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The la petro fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching QuilmesAC's performance. The match ended with a win for QuilmesAC.
