The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Tancredo got free with Zacarias Dayam in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Geronimo Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA PLAZA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Tancredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Diego Cedro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Dayam. Perugorría FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Cedro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 69th minute, Serafino Bemabe made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Dayam. Perugorría FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 76 played minutes LA PLAZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Vellito. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Jerardo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Txartiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelino Txartiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Eutor in the 81st minute. Diego Cedro took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Dayam. Zacarias Dayam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 87th match minute, Perugorría FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Eutor to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Bemabe in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Dayam saved Perugorría FC from getting behind. Perugorría FC's Zacarias Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Cedro in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Perugorría FC defense, Diego Cedro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Dayam. The Perugorría FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Dayam should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Diego Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Sixto Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Dayam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Tancredo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score.
