When Carolo Vellito fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA PLAZA FC's protests and gave Carolo Vellito a yellow card for diving instead. Placido Etxepare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Cedro in the 76th minute of play. Diego Cedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Placido Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonathan Nicholas fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Cadaver's protests and gave Jonathan Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Sporting Cadaver got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Nicholas. LA PLAZA FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
