Independiente de Rafaela's Gonzalo Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvino Canyelles in the 11th minute of play. Silvano Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Remo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Fliz having to interfere. Remo Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gonzalo Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Chañaritos's Nunez Abar, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chañaritos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvino Canyelles to make the kick off. Gonzalo Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvino Canyelles in the 75th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Alvino Canyelles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gonzalo Fliz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chañaritos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
