Amado Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Millano in the 4th minute of play. 沈鸿霆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Txeru during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alpachiri FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gaudencio Txeru hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 沈鸿霆 in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ordono saved Alpachiri FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Jusepe in the 14th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Amado Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Marciano Mattin put in a rough tackle. In the 22nd minute, Baldomero Llorienzo made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Ordono. Alpachiri FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Baldomero Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ordono having to interfere. Alvaro Fresco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play Alpachiri FC's Gaudencio Txeru was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of RIVER PLATE booed when Alpachiri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Pacorro charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Pacorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Pacorro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Cleto Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

RIVER PLATE made a substitution. Lucas Napier replaced Tomás Derwin. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Lluc made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Lluc in the 54th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Amado Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ordono made a huge save. Amado Gaskon came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Alpachiri FC's Bruno Lluc. But to his dismay, Bruno Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Bruno Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RIVER PLATE booed when Alpachiri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Napier, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Santiago in the 78th minute of play forced Alpachiri FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Alpachiri FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Ordono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Tiadoro. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER PLATE's zone, Bruno Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Gaskon came out of the goal and Bruno Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Albino Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ordono was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Gabriel Ordono made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Baldomero Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, RIVER PLATE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
