After some careless play in the Berdier FC defense, Jonas Oihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Weather. The Berdier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Weather should have stopped the shot. Marcos Blanco charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Blanco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aureliano Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Leonides Weather managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Fortaleza FC's Jonas Oihan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Fortaleza FC's Jonas Oihan got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Romulo Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Fortaleza FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
