Humberto Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Humberto Inautzi charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Inautzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 24 minutes, Teo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPARTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Ezequiel Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Teo Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Delmar Ayala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Bruno Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Mingo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilian Ryan in the 60th minute of play forced SPARTA FC's goalkeeper Romulo Blasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SPARTA FC's Ezequiel Mingo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 72 minutes in the game, fortunately Delmar Ayala had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ezequiel Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Delmar Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SPARTA FC's Claudio Fernandes got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SPARTA FC's zone, Gilian Ryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Blasco came out of the goal and Gilian Ryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Norberto Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Blasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Ezequiel Mingo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Delmar Ayala made a huge save. Romulo Blasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilian Ryan went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
