After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, David Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFK chorra HDP's supporters rose to their feet, but David Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, CFK chorra HDP's goalkeeper Flavio Ireno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Mancio. Faustino Chucho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Evelio Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Faustino Chucho charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Chucho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CFK chorra HDP booed when C. A.Instituto de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Juan Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Emeterio took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Egoi. A.Instituto de Córdoba's Evelio Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Emeterio in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, C. A.Instituto de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Chucho to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ralondo in the 40th minute of the match. Pascual Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabricio Mancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Flavio Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Iban made a kick off. Fabricio Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Ireno having to interfere. Pascual Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Flavio Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Haroldo Laurin in the 59th minute really tested Evelio Egoi's skills. Flavio Ireno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 played minutes CFK chorra HDP got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Eutropio. Filomeno Ekhi missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 93 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Flavio Ireno right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C. A.Instituto de Córdoba had won after a very even match.
