Gervasio Rosalio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Nerio's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Severo Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gervasio Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Plata FC's Gervasio Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Nerio in the 30th minute of play. After 34 played minutes La Plata FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Abaunza. La Plata FC's Florentino Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the last second Gervasio Rosalio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Roman Nerio in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a little luck, La Plata FC's Gervasio Rosalio got control of the ball when Severo Bazil tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Baumer to make the kick off. Gervasio Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Bazil in the 53rd minute of play. Prudencio Hodei's late challenge caught a Almagro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Hodei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, La Plata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Hodei to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Baldovino, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Almagro booed when La Plata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Baumer in the 65th minute of play forced Almagro's goalkeeper Cristian Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almagro's Cristian Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Baumer in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Severo Bazil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almagro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gervasio Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Bazil in the 78th minute of the match. Florentino Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Cordario having to interfere. If Severo Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gervasio Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roman Nerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Rosalio was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. If Roman Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Severo Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Almagro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
