Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) capuchinos's Omar Rosario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Martin Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente.mf's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the game, one of capuchinos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ermegildo Fidensio went to the wrong direction when Mateo Gaskon was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Rosario in the 8th minute of play forced Independiente.mf's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Cutberto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Martin Ruy made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Fidensio. capuchinos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Martin Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ermegildo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Fidensio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente.mf's Bartosz Treppa. But to his dismay, Bartosz Treppa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Martin Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Ruy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Martin Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Fidensio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Iigo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ruy in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Fidensio saved capuchinos from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Ruy in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Fidensio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Ruy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Fidensio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ermegildo Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ruy in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Iigo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, David Iigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Fidensio. David Iigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. David Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ermegildo Fidensio made a huge save. Omar Rosario's late challenge caught a Independiente.mf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to capuchinos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Omar Rosario hit a great ball. David Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ermegildo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Xabel's late challenge caught a Independiente.mf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Independiente.mf's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Xabel in the 81st minute of play. David Iigo scored 0-6 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Fidensio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If David Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Iigo got free with Ermegildo Fidensio in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The capuchinos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independiente.mf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
