That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. When Silvano Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haedo's protests and gave Silvano Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Mendez. When Haedo's Christian Maties in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lobisones's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Adolfo Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Maties struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zacarias Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Maties in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Bastian saved Lobisones from getting behind. In the 28th minute Christian Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Mendez hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lobisones's Arturo Nicholas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Romulo Bartoleme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haedo's Romulo Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Restu in the 43rd minute of play. Zacarias Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Maties's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Arturo Nicholas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobisones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haedo the free kick. Haedo made a substitution. Genaro Farias replaced Silvano Mendez. After 49 played minutes Lobisones got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Nicholas. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Maties to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Haedo defense, Arturo Nicholas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Bartoleme. The Haedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Bartoleme should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Maties's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Haedo's goalkeeper Romulo Bartoleme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Bernard. Christian Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Bastian having to interfere. With a little luck, Haedo's Romulo Bartoleme got control of the ball when Jonatan Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Arturo Berasko made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Bartoleme. Haedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Christian Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Maties in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Bastian saved Lobisones from getting behind. Jonas Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lobisones getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jonas Guzman hit a great ball. Christian Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Bastian having to make a save. Zacarias Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Maties's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Chants of Lobisones echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Haedo had held the ball for most of the match.
