In the 34thth minute of the game Anier Miliano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laboulaye's Aristides Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eigil Terslev during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A nice corner shot did that Eigil Terslev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aristides Roderigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Leo Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Naike came free, but Aurelio Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambato's Aurelio Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Naike in the 69th minute of play. Laboulaye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Miliano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 87 minutes into the game, Ambato's Leo Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Roderigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 91 played minutes, Laboulaye's Gaston Pinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Gorosti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laboulaye reached it. Leo Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Roderigo having to interfere. Ambato's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
