Anier Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Otto96's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Cordareo came free, but Logan Mosley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Argi's late challenge caught a Ambato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Ambato's protests and gave Zeledon Toribio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ambato's Zeledon Toribio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Logan Mosley made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Leo Santo sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Mosley having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, one of Ambato:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ambato. The referee gave Otto96 a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilberto Argi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ambato's Aurelio Gorosti. 2-0. Victorio Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aurelio Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Otto96's goalkeeper Logan Mosley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
