Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leonardo Galoer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Luis Fanuco fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Independiente's protests and gave Luis Fanuco a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Siro Gervaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Leonardo Galoer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Siro Gervaso. Leonardo Galoer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Siro Gervaso came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Correra's Fabio Sadurni. But to his dismay, Fabio Sadurni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 12 minutes into the game, Alejo Rumaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Correra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Independiente the free kick. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Correra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Montrell succeeded in the game's 13th minute to get real power on a long shot . Correra's Silvestre Abel hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! Leonardo Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Gervaso having to interfere. Siro Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Galoer in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the C.A. Independiente defense, Fabio Sadurni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Gervaso. The C.A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Gervaso should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Galoer in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Gervaso saved C.A. Independiente from getting behind. In the 27th minute Leonardo Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dalmacio Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Galoer in the 34th minute of play. Leonardo Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Sidro to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Independiente! Siro Gervaso was a little too slow when Leonardo Galoer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Pirro was the one to do the kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Leonardo Galoer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente's Siro Gervaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Fabio Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Sadurni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Mino. In the 66th minute, Fabio Sadurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Correra's Silvestre Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Pirro in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Fabio Sadurni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Gervaso. C.A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Sadurni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Correra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Vinicio Pirro scored to the left of an out of position Silvestre Abel, making the score, 6-2. Vinicio Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvestre Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Enzo Maura fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Correra's protests and gave Enzo Maura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Enzo Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Galoer in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Gervaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Correra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
