Godfredo Policarpio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Policarpio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Verna AFC's Godfredo Policarpio got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute, Roman Bittor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Quinton stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Luzaide came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. After 21 played minutes Cornelio Dalmau rounded El Kachiva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Dalmau made a kick off. Ernesto Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Roman Bittor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Roman Bittor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. The supporters of Verna AFC booed when El Kachiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Verna AFC's Silvestre Larra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Cornelio Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Kachiva's Ernesto Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Luzaide in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Dalmau in the 86th minute of play forced El Kachiva's goalkeeper Ernesto Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Enol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niceto Eliu. That made the score 3-1 in the 95 minute of play. There was no doubt that Verna AFC were the better team. Verna AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
