After a rather tough play, Papagayos's Joel Ladio got a free kick in the 7th minute. Evelio Conrao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Edwardo. Papagayos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute, Gaspar Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Centro AFC's Evelio Conrao got a free kick in the 11th minute. Daniel Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rogelio Ricart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papagayos. Astor Edwardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Cordarryl went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayos's zone, Edgardo Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Edwardo came out of the goal and Edgardo Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Cordarryl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Edwardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Astor Edwardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Ezkerra went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Centro AFC's Rogelio Ricart got control of the ball when Claudio Grabiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Ascencio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Grabiel in the 55th minute of play forced Centro AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Centro AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Francisco Cordarryl hit a great ball. Gaspar Mosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Astor Edwardo made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Papagayos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Mosen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Astor Edwardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Papagayos booed when Centro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball.
