Maximino Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Berdaitz in the 24th minute of play forced Clarke's goalkeeper Maximino Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Guido Polentzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Irigoyen's goalkeeper Guido Polentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Sadurni. A collision led to Irigoyen getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gervasio Beltza hit a great ball. Fabricio Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Romeo Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irigoyen's Guido Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Sadurni in the 42nd minute of play. If Atilano Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Irigoyen's Cirilo Loi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Hibai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Simon Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Hibai having to interfere. Clarke's Maximino Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Clarke from getting a goal against them. Atilano Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Polentzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Sadurni went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, Ruperto Sadurni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Guido Polentzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Maximino Hibai made a huge save. After 74 played minutes Irigoyen got a freekick which was hit by Dante Belo. Guido Polentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Sadurni in the 79th minute of the match. Clarke's Maximino Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Clarke from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Paolo Rivas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Hibai. The goal made the score 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, Clarke's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Rivas came free, but Maximino Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paolo Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irigoyen's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Clarke had won, even though Irigoyen had held more of the ball.
