Ciro Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gabriel Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Obeko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Beltxe's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Rolfi FC's Isidoro Medina got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mauricio Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Leo Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athletic Suarez's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Beltxe in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Obeko saved Rolfi FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Gerazan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Obeko. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ciro Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Tartalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Rolfi FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Isidoro Medina hit a great ball. A hard shot 41 in the game by Tomas Beltxe from a close distance when the talented Baldomero Obeko managed to make a qualified save. Rolfi FC's players were relieved. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Beltxe to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Athletic Suarez's goalkeeper Gabriel Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Rivas. The supporters of Athletic Suarez booed when Rolfi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Tartalo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Beltxe in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Obeko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Formerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Formerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Tartalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Formerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Formerio in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Beltxe in the 76th managed to get into a good position.
