Ranquilcó AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Frascuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tostado FC's Fausto Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Basualdo in the 16th minute of play. Astor Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fausto Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ranquilcó AFC defense, Florencio Frascuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Chico. The Ranquilcó AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Chico should have stopped the shot. When Florencio Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tostado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Barbosa during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Ranquilcó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. When Tostado FC's Florencio Frascuelo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Astor Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. Camilo Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fausto Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ranquilcó AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tostado FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Basualdo to make the kick off. Octavio Ereinotz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Tostado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Basualdo came free, but Fausto Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Frascuelo got free with Esteban Chico in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Javier Gumaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Chico, 0-3. Florencio Frascuelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteban Chico came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Frascuelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 73rd minute. Fausto Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Astor Basualdo scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Illart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Astor Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Tostado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Basualdo came free, but Fausto Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Tostado FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Ereinotz. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tostado FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ranquilcó AFC side.
