Cirilo Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Vianna in the 4th minute of play forced Yaretayo's goalkeeper Cirilo Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaretayo were furious when Placido Senon was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Yaretayo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Placido Senon hit a great ball. After 13 minutes of play, C.Olimpo's Nicanor Txordon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Lando was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by John Lundgren in the 17th minute of play forced C.Olimpo's goalkeeper Esteban Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Nicanor Txordon made a precise shot to the right of Cirilo Lando. Yaretayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Yaretayo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.Olimpo were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when Iratze Cabrera made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Jimeno Foro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cirilo Lando, 0-4. In the 59th minute, Higinio Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When John Lundgren came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Yaretayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Lundgren couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Siro Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Txordon in the 80th minute of play forced Yaretayo's goalkeeper Cirilo Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Jimeno Foro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Lando. Yaretayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Foro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Cirilo Lando came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Åke Låsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 91st minute. Higinio Belmiro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cirilo Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Olimpo. C.Olimpo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
