The shot was a little too simple and Dalmacio Faro could save by the left post. Esteban Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Damaso Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Santo Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Obano in the 25th minute of play forced C.Olimpo's goalkeeper Esteban Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, C.Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Jobo came free, but Esteban Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Jobo in the 28th minute of play. Higinio Belmiro's late challenge caught a LOS MAGNIFICOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Belmiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LOS MAGNIFICOS booed when C.Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Belmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Txordon in the 33rd minute of play. Esteban Reyes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS MAGNIFICOS's Timoteo Jobo. But to his dismay, Timoteo Jobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esteban Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Galeno in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.Olimpo defense, Timoteo Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Reyes. The C.Olimpo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Reyes should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Esteban Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes C.Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Vianna. After the first half LOS MAGNIFICOS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 minutes LOS MAGNIFICOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Vianna who took care of the corner kick. Jaime Vianna made a great header on C.Olimpo's corner, it was just that LOS MAGNIFICOS's Dalmacio Faro managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Primeiro in the 56th minute of play forced C.Olimpo's goalkeeper Esteban Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Txordon in the 68th minute of play forced LOS MAGNIFICOS's goalkeeper Dalmacio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Primeiro in the 70th minute of the match. When Damaso Galeno came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the LOS MAGNIFICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Galeno couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Samuel Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS MAGNIFICOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Quexal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Primeiro made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Reyes. C.Olimpo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. C.Olimpo's Esteban Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save C.Olimpo from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Samuel Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.Olimpo's Esteban Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Primeiro in the 86th minute of play. Esteban Reyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Jobo in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Higinio Belmiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Faro. LOS MAGNIFICOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Belmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Timoteo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LOS MAGNIFICOS played a much better game than C.Olimpo and deserved their victory. The C.Olimpo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
