Teodosio Peru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 12 played minutes Papagallos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Mateus. After some careless play in the Papagallos AFC defense, Enrique Liberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Azibar. The Papagallos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Azibar should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Banfield2's Enrique Matei got control of the ball when Jonas Mateus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Matei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Mateus in the 23rd minute. Freddy Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ciriaco Millrick took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Enrique Matei to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the game, Jonas Mateus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papagallos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banfield2 the free kick. After 34 played minutes Papagallos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Mateus. 38 minutes into the match, Banfield2's goalkeeper Enrique Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio Peru. In the 39th minute, Banfield2's Rodolfo Nabar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodolfo Nabar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Banfield2 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodolfo Nabar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rodolfo Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Jonas Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Teodosio Peru made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Papagallos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Millrick to maneuver through the defense. Banfield2's Marcial Pacifico managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camilo Semeno in the 55 minute of the game. Enrique Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Peru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Peru in the 74th minute of play forced Banfield2's goalkeeper Enrique Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Freddy Lucado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Freddy Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfield2's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Azibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
