Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Luisito Otsando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valencia CF's Bruno Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eleuterio Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Leopoldo Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Birjaio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valencia CF's Leopoldo Rocendo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Leopoldo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eleuterio Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Abel Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Birjaio having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Freddy Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Nesto to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Carlos Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Valencia CF's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Chuan came free, but Luisito Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Birjaio came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia CF's Leopoldo Rocendo. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Rocendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Abel Brion's late challenge caught a Chacaicó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Brion helped the player get up and apologised. Leopoldo Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Birjaio having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Chacaicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Martinez came free, but Eleuterio Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Birjaio having to make a save. After 95 played minutes Chacaicó FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Cloyo. When the match was over Valencia CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chacaicó FC throughout the match.
