Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 25) Escalante FC's Amadeo Ursino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Servando kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Spam Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Quinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Jerico in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Escalante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Quinto came free, but Eliseo Oxarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Gombal in the 13th minute of play forced Escalante FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Inguma hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Serafino Montxo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Oxarra skillfully saved the ball. Eliseo Oxarra came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Spam Futbol Club's Cayetano Jerico. But to his dismay, Cayetano Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute Amadeo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Rioja made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Filomeno Cibran sent off a good shot on target. If Filomeno Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes of play, Escalante FC's Amadeo Ursino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeo Ursino's late challenge caught a Spam Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Ursino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Cayetano Jerico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escalante FC's Eliseo Oxarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Gombal in the 40th minute of play. Benicio Romelio charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Romelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Escalante FC booed when Spam Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Escalante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Jerico came free, but Eliseo Oxarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Spam Futbol Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Jerico made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Filomeno Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cayetano Jerico put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseo Oxarra. In the 63rd match minute, Escalante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Inguma to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Spam Futbol Club's Ulises Quinto got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Spam Futbol Club defense, Amadeo Ursino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rioja. The Spam Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rioja should have stopped the shot. Cayetano Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cayetano Jerico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Oxarra, 3-4. Spam Futbol Club played a much better game than Escalante FC and deserved their victory. The Escalante FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
