Fidel Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Eustacio Salamon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Sebastian Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cayetano Jerico took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Fidel Quilino to make any attempt to save it. Eustacio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Rioja having to interfere. When Remigio Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Dragon Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Montrelle couldn't finish the play. Fidel Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Jerico in the 85th minute of play. Eustacio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Rioja having to interfere. Benicio Romelio charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Romelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spam Futbol Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Benicio Romelio hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Ulises Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spam Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
