In the 7th minute, Dante Gudesteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Jaunti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Jon during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dirch Gerstrup took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Jaunti. Desiderio Jaunti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Come Gatos F.C's Alfredo Tono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Jaunti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Magdala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Jon came free, but Desiderio Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Alfredo Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Jaunti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirch Gerstrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, Dirch Gerstrup made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Jaunti. Magdala AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some careless play in the Magdala AFC defense, Alfredo Tono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Jaunti. The Magdala AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Jaunti should have stopped the shot. After 42 played minutes Come Gatos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Perico. Magdala AFC's Genaro Venerando broke free in the 43rd minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. Magdala AFC's Desiderio Jaunti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tono in the 46th minute of play. Desiderio Jaunti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Fliz to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Genaro Venerando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Come Gatos F.C's Anier Olando was substituted for Laureano Perico. In the 86th match minute, Magdala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Dirch Gerstrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Desiderio Jaunti made a huge save. In the 90th match minute, Magdala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Martinez to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Dirch Gerstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Magdala AFC's Desiderio Jaunti got control of the ball when Alfredo Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Magdala AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Come Gatos F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
