With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Azteca getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Habakkuk N'Soumer hit a great ball. When Mateo Cordearo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Azteca fans jumped to their feet.
