Spectators: 6627 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baldomero Cordarrol made the kick off which started today's match. Hermengildo Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cleto Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Marques having to interfere. Mártires's Baldomero Cordarrol got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, CA Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Librado to maneuver through the defense. Hector Laurentzi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Marques. Salvador Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 25 minutes, Astor Ciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mártires and the CA Buenos Aires players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Mártires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Ciano to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Leandro Librado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Buenos Aires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mártires the free kick. A collision led to CA Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leandro Librado hit a great ball. Baldomero Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Marques having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CA Buenos Aires's Genaro Santikurtz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mártires's zone, Manuel Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Matthew came out of the goal and Manuel Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Baldomero Cordarrol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Marques. CA Buenos Aires's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Cordarrol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 43rd of the match, Manuel Orlandus tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cleto Matthew got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Hermengildo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Gustavo Afonso hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Manuel Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Cordarrol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Jimeno Cordeara put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mártires fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Mártires:s Cleto Matthew showed great skill when he stopped Gustavo Afonso:s penalty. Hermengildo Haritzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Hermengildo Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Buenos Aires's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Haritzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Orlandus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
