Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Ibon came free, but Abelardo Martxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Sedeni, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Abelardo Martxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Ibon in the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the C.A. Nueva Chicago defense, Jonatan Ibon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Martxel. The C.A. Nueva Chicago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Martxel should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Ishmael was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Nueva Chicago! Abelardo Martxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Sedeni in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Guaberto Panfilo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Abelardo Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Sedeni, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Felix Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gervasio Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nueva Chicago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Benvide who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Edelmiro Batista heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Abelardo Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Ibon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Guaberto Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Emerson Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MANDRAKE booed when C.A. Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ibon in the 70th minute of play.
