Raimundo Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Ponce having to interfere. Alejo Gar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Ponce having to make a save. BARRI´S EXPLOSION's Raimundo Etxekopar got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batel's Vladimiro Ponce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Batel from getting a goal against them. After 17 played minutes Batel got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Abarca. In the 27th minute, Natalio Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Alejo Gar scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Ponce, making the score, 1-0. Alejo Gar in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vladimiro Ponce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alejo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Ponce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raimundo Etxekopar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Etxekopar to make the kick off. Fabian Orzaize was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Alejo Gar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, BARRI´S EXPLOSION's Alejo Gar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Ponce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Generoso Nalo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Nalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Generoso Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Batel's Carmelo Abarca got a free kick in the 76th minute. BARRI´S EXPLOSION's Alejo Gar got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Raimundo Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Ponce having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Gar in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Ponce saved Batel from getting behind. The supporters of Batel booed when BARRI´S EXPLOSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. BARRI´S EXPLOSION walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
