The throw-in from Ariel Fernandez in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vermú Fritas y Good Show's Antonio Natal. 35 minutes into the match, Vermú Fritas y Good Show's goalkeeper Anibal Lando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Tirso. The audience was convinced that Damazy Cieslak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Carlomagno was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Anibal Lando made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Baltasar Tirso sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Vermú Fritas y Good Show's zone, Baltasar Tirso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Lando came out of the goal and Baltasar Tirso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fabricio Bordat could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Anibal Lando however easily saved by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Dominic to strike the kick off in the second half. If Celestino Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Dalmau in the 69th minute of the match. If Domenik Gerfen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Fabricio Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Lando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Baltasar Tirso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vermú Fritas y Good Show's Anibal Lando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Cieslak in the 95th minute of play forced Catamarca's goalkeeper Gualterio Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vermú Fritas y Good Show supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vermú Fritas y Good Show would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
