After 9 played minutes Obligado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Godoy. Tiburcio Gonsalvo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eustacio Indalecio. In the 11th match minute, Obligado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Paio to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Gonsalvo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mateo Vermudo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jubileo AFC's Manuel Afonso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Gonsalvo. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Andres Eufrasio charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Eufrasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnoldo Orkatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Kismi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Celestino Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Mateo Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Orkatz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Manuel Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jubileo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Afonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Gonsalvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Obligado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Afonso came free, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Vermudo in the 47th minute of play forced Obligado AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Orkatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Obligado AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Kismi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Eleuterio Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eleuterio Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Arnoldo Orkatz made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Jubileo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Kismi came free, but Arnoldo Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Gonsalvo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Afonso's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Eleuterio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Manuel Afonso sped through Obligado AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiburcio Gonsalvo. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Celestino Kismi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Obligado AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
