Marciano Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Daniel Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Laureano Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Obanta got a freekick which was hit by Andres Kiliz. After a rather tough play, Ibarreta's Lucio Baristo got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Obanta's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Pierres came free, but Marciano Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibarreta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Rito in the 37th minute. The corner led Ibarreta's Julio Rito to fire away a dangerous shot which Marciano Guillelmo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Luisito Pierres notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Obanta's Marciano Guillelmo. Marciano Guillelmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Pierres in the 42nd minute of play forced Obanta's goalkeeper Marciano Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Candido Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Acuña made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Enrique Ugaitz sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Tirso to make the kick off. Luisito Pierres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 59th playminute. Julio Rito hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Ibarreta's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ugaitz came free, but Candido Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes in the game, Eustacio Tirso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marciano Guillelmo having to interfere. Luisito Pierres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Marciano Guillelmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marciano Guillelmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Pierres in the 77th minute. Enrique Ugaitz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Eustacio Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ibarreta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Tirso couldn't finish the play. Luisito Pierres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Marciano Guillelmo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ibarreta booed when Obanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Medina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Luisito Pierres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ibarreta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
