Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Eriberto Soin made the kick off and thus started the match. Lázaro Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Pierres in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gessler defense, Luisito Pierres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Salvator. The Gessler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Salvator should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Gessler got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Vela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Soin in the 16th minute of play forced Ibarreta's goalkeeper Candido Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Itzaina hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Luisito Pierres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Salvator. Gessler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Pierres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lázaro Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Eustacio Tirso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gessler's Lázaro Salvator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Tirso in the 34th minute of play forced Gessler's goalkeeper Lázaro Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Gessler got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Soin. Lázaro Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Tirso in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Rigoberto Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Tirso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Pierres succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After 51 minutes of play, Ibarreta's Eustacio Tirso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisito Pierres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Salvator came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisito Pierres slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. If Eustacio Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Eustacio Tirso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lázaro Salvator. Eustacio Tirso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Primitivo Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibarreta's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Dolcet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Salvator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Eustacio Tirso rounded Gessler's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Luisito Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lázaro Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Itzaina took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Acuña. Candido Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 88 minutes into the match, Gessler's goalkeeper Lázaro Salvator had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Pierres. Eustacio Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lázaro Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Primitivo Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Eriberto Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gessler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ibarreta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gessler.
