La banda del Norte's Siro Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La banda del Norte's zone, Jacobo Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Mendiko came out of the goal and Jacobo Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Victor Goizeder's late challenge caught a La banda del Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Goizeder helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Goizeder hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, 邓骏威 put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Gaizkine.
