Roberto Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Antideportivo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unión AFC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Benvide to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jacobo Feo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Arnoldo Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Unión AFC got a corner. Club Antideportivo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Unión AFC's Alonzo Lluc to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Gaizkine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute, Elvio Frasquito made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Gaizkine. Club Antideportivo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 87th minute, Arnoldo Flor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Gaizkine having to interfere. Elvio Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
