After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Angelo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robustiano Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Poetas de la selva's Federico Franco got control of the ball when Zekeriya Ongun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robustiano Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Domiku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yüksel Giyas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Franco having to interfere. Zekeriya Ongun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Simon Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Ponce in the 25th minute of the match. When Urbano Cilio fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encrucijada's protests and gave Urbano Cilio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encrucijada's goalkeeper Robustiano Resto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Encrucijada getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vinicio Baldovino hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Poetas de la selva's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zekeriya Ongun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Poetas de la selva's Federico Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüksel Giyas in the 36th minute of play. Yüksel Giyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 41 in the game by Zekeriya Ongun from a close distance when the talented Federico Franco managed to make a qualified save. Poetas de la selva's players were relieved. After 42 minutes of play, Poetas de la selva's Angelo Ponce made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Encrucijada's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Ponce came free, but Robustiano Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Encrucijada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poetas de la selva were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Domiku was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Poetas de la selva got a freekick which was hit by Simon Domiku. Christian Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encrucijada's goalkeeper Robustiano Resto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada's Vinicio Baldovino got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekeriya Ongun in the 65th minute of play forced Poetas de la selva's goalkeeper Federico Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Encrucijada's Zekeriya Ongun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinicio Baldovino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Natalio Bernad charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Bernad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Encrucijada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Bernad to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada's Natalio Bernad got a free kick in the 77th minute. Federico Franco came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Encrucijada's Yüksel Giyas. But to his dismay, Yüksel Giyas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Giyas in the 84th minute of play forced Poetas de la selva's goalkeeper Federico Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Poetas de la selva's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Giyas came free, but Federico Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Encrucijada's goalkeeper Robustiano Resto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Ponce. Yüksel Giyas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Zekeriya Ongun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Federico Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Encrucijada's Robustiano Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Domiku in the 94th minute of play. Yüksel Giyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poetas de la selva's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
