With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Ponciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iñaki Villar made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Emanuel Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. Pastor Silbestre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iñaki Villar came out and tried to block the shot, but Pastor Silbestre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 39th minute. After 45 minutes, Naycho Gandzhulov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Churry´s de Cipo and the Bañado AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Churry´s de Cipo's Naycho Gandzhulov got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Bañado AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Churry´s de Cipo were winning 1-2.

Antonio Bero struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Iñaki Villar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bañado AFC. After a rather tough play, Los Churry´s de Cipo's Michel Moberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Bañado AFC's Sixto Honesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Emanuel Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bañado AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iñaki Villar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emanuel Astudillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iñaki Villar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Los Churry´s de Cipo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Churry´s de Cipo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
