Marcos Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Gustau in the 8th minute of play. Lázaro Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Brais having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdislav Kleiner in the 18th minute of play forced C.A. Hipólito Bouchard's goalkeeper Horacio Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrew Pirlo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Marcos Diaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zdislav Kleiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Horacio Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Mats-Alexander Hummels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Diaz. Club Atlético Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats-Alexander Hummels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fabian Chinto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Andrew Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Andrew Pirlo made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats-Alexander Hummels in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Andrew Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Pirlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Mats-Alexander Hummels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Hipólito Bouchard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Argentino the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Mats-Alexander Hummels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Mats-Alexander Hummels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mats-Alexander Hummels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Pirlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrew Pirlo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes of play, C.A. Hipólito Bouchard's Andrew Pirlo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Diaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Andrew Pirlo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the C.A. Hipólito Bouchard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Pirlo couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Erruki's late challenge caught a C.A. Hipólito Bouchard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Erruki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Club Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Erruki to maneuver through the defense. Andrew Pirlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Carolo Maidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Hipólito Bouchard and the Club Atlético Argentino players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Hipólito Bouchard getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Carolo Maidana hit a great ball. Club Atlético Argentino's Jiang Ping Jun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horacio Brais but with some difficulty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Argentino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. Hipólito Bouchard.
