Domingo Hats was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Adrian Petri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Petri really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorrego's Adrian Petri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Hats. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Ordono got free with Paraskevas Petroutsos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
