The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, APOLOS FC's Eustacio Presebal got a free kick in the 4th minute. Narciso Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Raymon having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Uriel Kinsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIO DE LA PLATA's Simon Raymon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Simon Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Kinsen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, one of RIO DE LA PLATA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RIO DE LA PLATA. 21 minutes into the match, Eustacio Presebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Raymon. RIO DE LA PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Presebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Narciso Gagriel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Raymon, 3-0. A collision led to APOLOS FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Martin Guerau hit a great ball. Uriel Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Simon Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, APOLOS FC's João Vítor Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Simon Raymon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Guerau in the 38th minute. APOLOS FC's Uriel Kinsen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ovidio Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Presebal's late challenge caught a RIO DE LA PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. APOLOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Raymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute Martin Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Claus in the 98th minute. APOLOS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
