Celestino Richie scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Victor Restu sped through RIO DE LA PLATA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Raymon. Simon Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Tadeo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Simon Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIO DE LA PLATA's goalkeeper Simon Raymon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Pompeya's Adrian Danel got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, RIO DE LA PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Restu came free, but Simon Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Raymon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Estebe to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Tadeo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Raymon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Restu in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Tadeo Estebe rounded RIO DE LA PLATA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. After 59 played minutes FC Pompeya got a freekick which was hit by Julio Hegoi. FC Pompeya's Tadeo Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Estebe in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Raymon saved RIO DE LA PLATA from getting behind. If Tadeo Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Pompeya's Wellington Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, RIO DE LA PLATA's Simon Raymon got control of the ball when Wellington Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Estebe in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Adrian Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pompeya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Danel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Pompeya made a substitution. Ruperto Palos replaced Elvio Gorosti. After 85th play minutes Tadeo Estebe shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Simon Raymon and just under the crossbar into goal. Wellington Seco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Simon Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pompeya. Ovidio Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Pompeya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
