But to his dismay, Evelio Vasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adriana Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jesus Fortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Monte Castro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Baumer came free, but Jesus Fortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Adriana Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Serafin Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacarias Su was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Gregorio Pueblo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Oton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Su in the 64th minute of the match. If Evelio Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Castro FC's zone, Evelio Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Fortun came out of the goal and Evelio Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monte Castro FC's Zacarias Su got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafin Oton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Huly, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Adriana Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With 89 minutes on the clock, Armando Precioso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alfredo Tallia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Eugenio Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
