After a defensive mix-up in Vieytes Club's zone, Virgilio Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Cordara came out of the goal and Virgilio Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Claris was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes Vieytes Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Abecia who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Durazno's Lucas Abecia to fire away a dangerous shot which Albano Cordara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Virgilio Claris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Albano Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Vieytes Club's goalkeeper Albano Cordara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Dacio. 60 minutes into the match, Vieytes Club's goalkeeper Albano Cordara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Dacio. The long shot by Esteban Ralondo in the 81st minute really tested Albano Cordara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 87th minute, Nunez Dacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Honesto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Albano Cordara made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nunez Dacio sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Durazno could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vieytes Club throughout the match.
