In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIBERTAD ARGENTINA's goalkeeper Anier Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Alejo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Valentine having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Evarado got free with Anier Valentine in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32ndth minute of the game Cristian Urtun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LIBERTAD ARGENTINA's Anier Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Cristian Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semillero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Cristian Urtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. Anier Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Evarado hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Alejo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anier Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Semillero booed when LIBERTAD ARGENTINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Eliazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Semillero's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
