After a rather tough play, Rivadavia AFC's Teobaldo Estebano got a free kick in the 6th minute. Radomil Mierzejewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luisito Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Radomil Mierzejewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute Diego Paskal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rivadavia AFC's Diego Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Paskal in the 42nd minute of play forced Diegotte FC's goalkeeper Luisito Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Diegotte FC's Esteban Lauren got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Diegotte FC! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Paskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rivadavia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Mierzejewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Procopio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Diegotte FC's Lucas Veto got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomil Mierzejewski in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Procopio saved Diegotte FC from getting behind. Luisito Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mierzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomil Mierzejewski in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Procopio saved Diegotte FC from getting behind. Luisito Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Paskal in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Diegotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Lizardi. After some careless play in the Diegotte FC defense, Diego Paskal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Procopio. The Diegotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Procopio should have stopped the shot. Diegotte FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
