The referee ignored Alastuey NG's protests and gave Ateş Hacıağa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Alastuey NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ateş Hacıağa to maneuver through the defense. Dario Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes Devoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Aguilera. Benedicto Saboya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ladislao Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Alfredo Regis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the match, Alfredo Regis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti. Ladislao Eguntsenti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ladislao Eguntsenti made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Alfredo Regis sent off a good shot on target. Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Devoto FC from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Eguntsenti having to interfere. Benedicto Saboya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Amor to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Eguntsenti having to interfere. Benedicto Saboya struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ladislao Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alastuey NG. Alfredo Regis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Eguntsenti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Benedicto Saboya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Saboya in the 66th minute of play. When Benedicto Saboya came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Alastuey NG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Saboya couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Saboya in the 70th minute of play forced Devoto FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Eguntsenti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Bertran during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Alfredo Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Devoto FC defense, Benedicto Saboya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Eguntsenti. The Devoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Eguntsenti should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Regis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ladislao Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alastuey NG. 88 minutes into the match, Benedicto Saboya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Eguntsenti. Devoto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Saboya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Devoto FC booed when Alastuey NG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
