When Ateş Hacıağa fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alastuey NG's protests and gave Ateş Hacıağa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alastuey NG's Ateş Hacıağa got a free kick in the 86th minute. Leandro Frederico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The villa del plata players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
